The Great Post-It Note Prank of 2007

post_it.jpg

My office has a Secret Satan Competition during Halloween season. Each participant draws a name out of a hat and pranks that person. The best prank wins. I got a colleague and good friend of mine to be their Secret Satan. This prank was not an act of revenge or payback. This was a proactive act of prankdom.

I had seen this prank done many times on the internet. But I wanted to do it once for myself. My biggest fear was that I would not have enough Post-It notes. I purchased 15 bulk packs, each including eighteen 100-sheet packs for a total of 27,000 Post-Its. The office would only sustain 9,000.

It took 3 of us 5 hours to complete it. A couple other people stopped by to help as well. Special thanks to Matt Luhrs and Benito Buttner for their help on this one. Thanks to Dave Kichen as well.
